Employment Permit Processing Delays
Hi all, is anyone else experiencing long delays in receiving decisions on their employment permit applications? I haven't heard a word from DETE in over two months now. Their website says they are currently processing applications received 24th March, which is the date they've been stuck at for a few weeks now. And there's no announcement on their website as regards a reason for this delay. I'm hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this.

HI Elaine, yes I agree and no disrespect to the DBEI staff but the applications can sometimes be complex and do require a good level of knowledge. I have found mailing EPMS DETE <epms@enterprise.gov.ie>; EPOS Queries <epos@enterprise.gov.ie> can help with responses to particularly urgent issues like payment problems and such!
