Naturalisation through Marriage versus in own right
Good afternoon, can anyone advise if the processing time is quicker for applications for naturalisation as the spouse of an Irish citizen as opposed to one applying in their own right or are they the same. The reckonable residency requirement is satisfied for 5 years now but client is not married for 3 years until later this year. Is there any benefit it waiting and applying as a spouse in the hope that it will be processed quicker?
