Registration of Temporary Protection Holders
Hi all, the ISD are currently not registering temporary protection holders. This is causing substantial difficulties for people. It is a serious issue, particularly when people have a statutory obligation to register. We have recently been able to secure Stamp 4 registration for the holder of temporary protection, from a visa required country. He needed to travel for a family bereavement and had no way to facilitate re entry to the State. The Department initially agreed to issue him a re entry visa but ultimately conceded to our request for registration and an IRP card.
