New Employment Permit Portal
Hi everyone, I know this topic has and is being discussed on this forum. Our office is continuing to have immense difficulties actioning anything on this portal. Just when we manage to register or authorise one thing or another, another road block appears. It's hugely frustrating.
What I want to know is, have any of you, as agents, managed to complete a full application form on behalf of an employee or employer? So far, I only seem to be able to fill out a few initial details about the employee and it more or less ends with me uploading their passport photo. That said, the employer in question has been having difficulty authorising me as agent which could be limiting how far I can go on this application. But having reviewed the guidelines, Section 2.5.4 'Completing permit details' states: "Depending on the parties, a set of questions / uploads will surface for the User to complete an additional Details Pages, depending on the permit type. The screen shots below are an example of the Details Pages to complete for a general employment permit application." Does this mean that only the employer can fill out employer related questions, and the employee can only fill out employee related questions? And can the agent not take over all aspects of question answering?
Our office is also having difficulty registering authorised users to the portal. So to date, we have been requesting the pass code from the authorised admin every time we need to login. DETE hasn't responded to any of my emails sent over the course of the last 3 weeks.
