Renewing Critical Skills Permit / Stamp 4
A client is making an application for a Stamp 4 based on her CSP. It appears under the new Dept of Justice rules, you need to have actually registered with the GNIB and received a Stamp 1 for 21 months before you're eligible to apply for a Stamp 4.
My client won't have the required 21 months before her current CSP expires because she had to apply for a visa to come to ireland after her CSP issued (which took two months to process) and then she only got her Stamp 1 appointment 6 weeks after she arrived here.
It looks like she'll have to apply for a new CSP to cover the missing few weeks until she reaches 21 months on a Stamp 1 - has anyone had this issue before and has anyone found another solution?
