Time periods for De Facto Spouse Pre Clearance Letter
Happy New Year to everyone.
Would anyone have any indication of the real time period for the processing of Pre Clearance Applications for De Facto Spouses coming from Canada to Ireland.
My client made application prior to Christmas and I understand applications from early November are currently being processed. My client has received an excellent job offer but which requires him to complete the on boarding process in person. Employer has indicated a date in early February to commence training but unlikely the Pre Clearance will have been processed by then.
Client is obviously anxious not to lose the job offer but similarly does not want to do anything he shouldn't.
Has anyone been able to successfully speed up the processing or have any insight in to an alternative way he may be able to come to Ireland to complete training. The actual start date is not until April and one would hope that the application would be finalised and granted by then.
