Reckonable Residency Letters
Good morning, has anyone had success recently in obtaining a letter from GNIB to confirm reckonable residence. How are people getting their permission stamps on their Passports if immigration offices are closed? Is it sufficient to rely on previous stamp and subsequent extensions announcements?

I just tried again last week to get a reckonable residency letter and was refused on the grounds that "Citizenship no longer requires these". I wrote back and explained that we needed it because the client did not have a stamped passport or copies of expired GNIB cards. They again refused saying INIS had access to that information. Finally I replied and said I was requesting it under GDPR. This time they said they'd be in touch!
