Making International Protection Application as Ukranian
Has anyone had experience with a Ukranian here in Ireland under Temporary Protection making an application for International Protection? Specifically I am concerned about access to the labour market and whether the client, who has been in receipt of jobseeker allowance up to now, will be refused access to the labour market for the usual 6 month period upon making an IP application.

Section 60(14) of the International Protection Act appears to me to preclude the possibility of someone simultaneously holding Temporary Protection and International Protection applicant status, so if your client does apply for international protection it seems to me they will lose their entitlements under the TP Directive.
