Delay in issue of Naturalisation Certificates
Hi all,
Is anybody else's clients experiencing very long delays in receiving their naturalisation certificate following submission of the Declaration of Fidelity and paying the fee etc?
I have a number of clients who submitted their fee and documents in or around 15 December and are yet to hear anything back. I am just concerned, as previously when I have experienced such delays it's because there is something else going on in the background, such as a proposed revocation of permission. Though I can't see what that could be in these particular cases.
Accordingly, I am wondering if this is a general delay everyone is experiencing? As usual the citizenship have been unable to shed any light on the matter!

Hi Barbara, I have a number of clients who have waited 10-12 weeks after payment of fees and return of declaration for their certificate.
